White Iris Designs & Mammaw's Sweet Shoppe Goes Vintage at
Midwest Rentals Bridal Affair 2012
It was once again time, for the Midwest Rentals Bridal Affair.
This year we decided to go with an ever so popular, vintage theme. How much more romantic can you get with shades of mocha's, vintage pink & lace? Is this not the dream of every little girls' wedding?
~Let's Take A Look Around Our Booth~
Above --Gorgeous Guest Table Centerpiece. A large cylinder with fresh flowers nestled in with some beautiful cream colored pearls. We wrapped mocha colored ribbon around the cyliner and added a touch of lace to give it a vintage flare. On top of the cylinder sits an arrangement of Quicksand & Sahara Roses with Dusty Miller, Seeded Eucalyptus, Agonis & Pink Stock. Adding loops of pearls around the edge adds even more vintage flare. Of course, you cannot forget about the birds nest at each place setting. The nests held the name cards.
Below -- An up & coming wedding trend...the Wish Tree.
At the entrance of your Wedding Reception, add a Wish Tree for your guests to write their well wishes on tags & then hang them for the Bride & Groom to read when they return from their Honeymoon.
Following with the Vintage theme, we added old suitcases & cameras. Adding pictures of the Bride & Groom's Family or their Engagement Pictures always adds a nice touch as well.

Above -- The Focal Point...the Head Table! Where is everyone going to be staring at for most of the evening...yes, the Head Table.
Here we added Mocha & Lace linens with a fresh centerpiece in the center. We used the same flowers that were in the Guest Table centerpiece so that there is a cohesive look in the room. Mercury Glass Candlesticks give the table some height and dimension. To add detail, we added birds nests with ribbon wrapped candles. Adding votive cups and pearls throughout the table just adds more interesting detail.
Below -- This was our information table. Here we displayed an example of a Unity Candle Arrangement. This would be used on the Altar of a Church for the Bride & Groom to light during the ceremony.
We love creating the flower arrangements for them but now, we can create your Unity Candle.
Let us not forget, Mammaw's Sweet Shoppe. We have the privilege of sharing the same retail space as them. Our designs go hand-in-hand in the Wedding/Event business. They did an amazing job with their sweet treats.
Here are some pictures to get your taste buds going
A very large thank you goes out to Sarah Parent & Christy Marks for taking such wonderful photographs of our booth. We love working with you guys!
