The Bridal Bouquet

Jenna was what we call a "Dream Bride"! When we met with Jenna, she basically told us her color palette & said she loved peacock feathers.....well who doesn't love them! She told me that she wanted something with plums, greens peacock feathers & that she wanted something very unique that was not necessarily all flowers. But, beyond that ,she didn't care what we did. She trusted us & wanted us to do our magic! WOW......those are words I love to hear.... Jenna's bouquet was a free form, hand tied style design using: Antique Hydrangea, Golden Cymbidium Orchids, Ornamental Kale, Plum Calla Lilies, Purple Trachelium, Fresh Green Lotus Pods & Live Succulents. We accented her bouquet with lily grass & peacock feathers to achieve the artistic design.

Bridesmaid's Bouquets

The Bridesmaid's bouquets were each one a bit different, but still cohesive & using the same flowers, but put together in different ways. They were also a free form style design, but we used the following flowers: Antique Hydrangea, Lavender Roses, Privet Berries, Millet, Fresh Green Lotus Pods, Ornamental Kale & Live Succulents. The bouquets were then given their artistic flair by adding lily grass & peacock feathers. The succulents were incorporated, in a way, so that after the event the Bridesmaids could keep them to grow in their landscapes.

Groom's Boutonniere

The Groom's boutonniere is a plum mini Calla Lily, seeds from Seeded Eucalyptus, a tiny live succulent, & peacock feathers. We wrapped the stems with plum ribbon & added a couple of green pearl head pins for a nice touch.

Groomsmen's Boutonnieres

The Groomsmen each wore a boutonniere of living succulents, seeds from Seeded Eucalyptus, Fountain grass & peacock feathers. Their stems were treated in the same manor as the Groom's.

The Corsages

The corsages were designed as shoulder style (ours are magnetic) with a golden Cymbidium Orchid, Privet Berry, & accented with peacock feathers.

All photography was provided by April at Pure Photography, she does amazing photos.

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
