Outdoor Fall Arbor Wedding ~ Oct. 2010

Love the romantic look that this sets. What bride wouldn't love to walk down this aisle? It was a perfect fall weekend in Indiana for an outdoor wedding.

Large urns flanked the arbor & were filled with curly willow, belles of Ireland, alstromeria, royal sunset lilies, orange milva roses & black magic roses & mixed greenery.
The urn arrangements were moved inside, after the ceremony, to the reception & placed on the hearth of the fireplace.

A closer look at the bouquet on the arbor....we love the drippiness of the hanging amaranthus.

A large arbor adorned with a bouquet of black magic roses, royal sunset lilies, milva roses, belles of Ireland, & dripping with red hanging amaranthus.

Love the woodland fairy feel to this wedding's setting.
The aisle was lined with shepherd hooks with red rose pomanders & Milva & Black Magic roses.

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
