"Mystery Client" ~ Project Complete.......ALMOST! ~

Finally the arrangement for the "Mystery Client" has been completed!!
Yes, it is complete & I believe it has been approved.....HURRAH!! But here is the catch....remember that this was on a deadline of by Valentine's Day, right....remember that it was to be approximately 3' tall & 2 1/2 to 3' wide, right....OK, all was going according to plan.....until I began the plans to get it shipped out.

Below are the details on the shipping of this arrangement!

Dog Musher
Hmm considered it, but now most all snow is melted!!

Hot Air Balloon
NO WAY!! Not worth the risk...besides it is far too cold!

PONY EXPRESS!!
No longer in existence!! That idea was out!!

USPS
Item is too large....They won't even consider it!!

UPS & FED EX
Yes, they will ship it......BUT....there is always a BUT......it is just a bit too large to ship it normal, you know like when their big delivery trucks pull up to your house & the man delivers. NO, this is big enough that it has to be shipped UPS or FED EX FREIGHT!!! That is when you box it up & then a huge 18 wheel semi trailer pulls up to your house & the man delivers!!

Yeah, it can be delivered......if I want to spend...................a whopping $300..............no you are not seeing things there are 2 0's after that 3!!
I know, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS...........UNBELIEVABLE!

So looks like after Valentine's Day I am packing my bags & loading my 4Runner & headed out for the farthest flower delivery EVER made in the history of White Iris Designs!!!

At least we came to a compromise....they wait till after the Valentine holiday & I get them their completed Flower arrangement personally delivered!!

I still cannot say where I am going or to whom I am delivering it to.....but I am going to continue to post while on my trip. Maybe after all of this "SPECIAL TREATMENT" they will relent & let me tell you who they are. Fingers Crossed!!

OH I almost forgot.....Want to see what I am delivering? Here it is completely finished....I think it is going to work....but I am taking my designs tools & some extra flowers, just in case I have to make some adjustments!! Ahhh a flower lady's work is never finished!

Okay, after all you have done, I hope we will get to know the mystery client. Do they know what trouble you have gone thru to please them? The arrangement is beautiful, gosh 300 buck-a-roos! I'm giving up my career and going into postal!

The arrangement is beautiful...can't believe you are hand delivering it!
Crazy!
Now you've got us wondering...who this famous mystery person is!
Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging remarks this morning on the blog.
After a rough day yesterday, it was so uplifting and a Godsend to find your words there.

Ohhhh, I love that arrangement. It is beautiful. Enjoyed reading your amusing comments on shipping - too bad they're true. Maybe we should all go into the shipping business.

Well, if your client is not satisfied (can't imagine that they wouldn't be) you are welcome to drop the arrangement by Arkansas! I'm sure I can find a place for it. LOL

Keep us posted on your traveling adventures. Be careful and have fun!

Tammy, it's a gorgeous design! You really did a great job, and I know your client will be thrilled.

GORGEOUS!

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
