~Tablescape Tuesday~....Literally in 5 Minutes!

This is my Tablescape Tuesday in 5 minutes! This is set up on the coffee table in my family room.
I brought home from the flower shop today...candles, the rose china, the mirror, the stemware & the flower arrangement. This is what I came up with in 5 minutes. Sorry, working on a bridal show & have time constraints!

To see the other, more planned out Tablescapes visit Susan at
Between Naps on the Porch she has posted a complete list of participants.

My centerpiece is nothing more than 3 candles placed on the mirror with some gems & some loose gemstone chip beads. Places on top of a lace table runner that I bunched up corner to corner on my square coffee table.

Here is a different angle of the centerpiece with the flower arrangement off to the one corner.

The centerpiece is glitter grape ivy & glitterd apples designed on top of a candle stick. If you have seen some of my previous posts, you will notice that I am fond of designing flower arrangement on top of candle sticks. The are great to use, especially when you can on find on of a kind.

I used my everyday sage green Longaberger dishes with some rose china on top with a couple of pieces of stemware I picked up at TJMAXX. The stemware & the china were just random pieces I bought so that I could set a small wicker table in my flower shop.
Very quick & simple! Took me less time to set the table than it did my husband to make the grilled cheese sandwhiches & fried baked potatoes that we had for dinner!

OK, I've got two things to say:
First, you and your husband are two lucky people - you for him fixing such a yummy supper and him for the table setting you lovingly prepared.
Second, if this is what you can produce in five minutes...holey moley, I'd like to see what an ordinary mortal's timeframe would produce!!!
Love,
Jlo

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
