Yea, I am so ready for spring to be here too. When in doubt just add some red food coloring to add in with the snow to make it pink...when life gives you a mound of snow, make snow cones...lol. We are supposed to get more snow next week.

Have a great pink day and stay warm :)

Oh, I totally agree. I'm so sick of the white stuff which is actually dirty looking at this point. It's been so cold it just won't melt!

Looking forward to the blooms of Spring.

Mu first Pink Saturday-nice to meet you!

I'd love to have any color snow for a short while, but the pink snow sure is pretty. Spring is coming...I spotted a wild violet blooming in my yard today and soon I'll spot robins as they start migrating north. I usually see the first one right around now.

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
