~A Christmas Blessing for my Friends~

Wishing you & your families a very Blessed Christmas filled with the joy of celebrating the birth of the King.
As I am preparing to celebrate this Christmas with my family & friends, I am reminded of a day a few years back. While singing during the worship portion of our church service, in my mind I kept hearing a particular phrase over & over in my head. As I continued singing, it just kept repeating, to the point where I was compelled to go forth in church & share it with the congregation. I knew that this had to be from God, because I would never do something like this on my own accord.

Today as we celebrate the birth of our King, I'd like to share that Word from the Lord with you.

"Hear ye o children of the Lord, take these gifts that I have given you, untie the strings that bind them. Take them out, for they are not meant for you alone. Share them with others, so that they too may know the wonders of My love."

To this day I am not certain why God chose me for this Word from Him, but I do know that when we are open to Him & Believe...He will use us. I am grateful that on that particular day, my heart was open..and He spoke to me.

We have all been blessed with many different gifts & talents, I've witnessed that here amongst my blogging friends. What ever our gifts are, we must know that they are not meant for us to use solely for ourselves. We've been blessed with gifts to use to bless others & show His love to those who need Him. Choose this day to share God's greatest Gift with others...His Son, Jesus!

It is with a joyful heart that I celebrate this Christmas!....O come, O come Emmanuel!
God is indeed with us!!

Merry Christmas my friends, You have all been a blessing to me this past year!
Much Love,
~Tammy~

Thank you for sharing this special word you received -I receive it as well and believe its message with all my heart.
You are so right - our hearts are atuned: I truly believe the story I shared yesterday was a gift from God for all.
Thank you for embracing it as such, too.
With love you, my new friend,

The White Iris

The Iris danced across
the ancient Grecian skies. Gliding with her
embossed
satiny milken sides.

Her lithe and nimble limbs moved methodically...
From her cream white petals to her supple stem. The nectar that she carried was transposed into a hymn.

"I must use my moments wisely, for they shall soon pass away... And be lost to me forever... A mere memory of my yesterdays...

"Thus she sung
And thus she cried.
Her voice set to harp
And lyre. So true a call
So true a heart did Zeus himself see...

"Come now unto
Mt Olympus

Oh white Iris,
And our announcer be"...
She floated along
In such a curving grace...
Transposed she was
In time and space...

The blessed arched path
Which she did go,
Became the journey for
All our eternal rainbows.
