Blown Glass Ornament in Christmas Centerpiece

Posted by: White Iris Designs in , , , , ,

This centerpiece was designed for the holiday meeting of the Purdue International Womens Club, at Inspired Fire. I was asked to design a centerpiece to sit on the refreshment table using their chosen colors of Burgundy, Red & Gold. Since it was being held at the glass gallery I thought it would be a nice touch to design the centerpiece around one of the owner's hand blown glass Christmas ornaments.

This is an idea that you could use for your own holiday centerpiece. If you have an heirloom or a vintage ornament, ask your florist to use it as the focal point of your design. This is a great way to display your favorite Christmas treasures.

This centerpiece is made with Cleopatra leather leaf, Scotch broom, cedar, tinted gravelia, bay laurel, safari sunset, Freedom red roses & artificial gold glittered accents.
